How a website project runs, from first call to launch

You’ll know what’s happening, what I need from you and what comes next.

  1. 01

A conversation and a clear quote

We talk about your business, your customers and what the website needs to do. You get a written scope, a fixed price and an agreed schedule before paying the 50% deposit.

  2. 02

A design you can actually try

You see a working page early, on your own phone or laptop. I write the copy and build the design; you give feedback while changes are easy to make.

  3. 03

    Checked, launched and handed over

I check layouts, links, forms, loading and accessibility before launch. Once approved, the site goes onto your domain. You receive the code and handover notes, and pay the remaining 50%.

What I need from you while I build it

Bring your business details, services, logo and any photographs you own. I’ll ask about your customers and what you want them to do. You don’t need to write the website yourself.

Checked properly

  • Phone, tablet and desktop layouts
  • Links, images and contact forms
  • Keyboard use, contrast and automated accessibility checks
  • Page titles, search setup and loading

Automated checks help find problems; they do not guarantee every accessibility need is covered. Full screen-reader testing is not part of the standard audit.

Ready for the first step?

Tell me about your business. I’ll help you work out what you need and what it will cost.

Start a project

The first conversation is free and takes about 20 minutes. If you stop at any point, you pay only for work done and keep it.
